From January 2009, AAA will be expanding in 3 ways!
1)We are adding a new venue!The Club will now be hosting sessions at Dene Comprehensive School in Peterlee.This means the Club will now operate from 3 different venues!For more details, see the VENUES page.
2)We are adding a new discipline!AAA are proud to be the only Trampoline Club in the region to offer its members the chance to take part in the exciting discipline of Cheerleading!Sessions will be held every Saturday at both Raich Carter SC and Dene Comprehensive School.See the CHEERLEADING page for more information!

Now in it’s 2nd run, AAA Fancy Dress Parties are some of the best sessions of the year!This year there were 5 parties in total with music, sweets and prizes, with most people getting dressed up and taking part in the crazy games!Special mentions go to:

14-Dec-08: AAA Goes On A Mystery Tour
As a reward for their hard work this year, AAA paid for it’s Competitors to go on a Mystery Tour... to South Durham Gym Club!The Club had access to all the facilities in the gym, including the foam pits, tumble track and bars, and everyone learned new skills and tricks under the guidance of our fantastic coach Susan!It was a really good trip!Thank you!
13-Dec-08: AAA Christmas Disco
Tonight was the first annual AAA Christmas Disco at Sandhill, including games, music, food and prizes!Everyone enjoyed themselves, and many AAA members went home with some excellent prizes – including Christian who won his very own AAA Trampoline Party!

Congratulations to everyone who competed in the Regional Schools competition at Temple Park Leisure Centre today!There were some excellent results, including 4 AAA members qualifying to the Zonal Schools competition in Cheshire in January 2009!

15-Nov-08: Tyne & Wear Trampoline Finals
Today AAA held the 1st Annual Tyne & Wear Trampoline Finals at Sandhill.The event was a huge success, with over 191 competitors taking part in the event from all over Tyne & Wear taking part, and officials from AAA helping out all day!AAA had 9 competitors taking part in the event and came away with two 3rd place trophies for Jak-E (L1 KS4B) and Amy (L2 KS3G).Results from the Finals and all of the qualifiers can now be found on the Results page.Congratulations to everyone who took part!

05-Nov-08: Sunderland Qualifier Results
AAA held the Sunderland Qualifier for the Tyne & Wear Trampoline Finals at Sandhill today.11 members took part in the event, with most qualifying to the Final on 15th November.The Club did extremely well, winning 5 of the 6 groups it entered!
Alex L and Alex P are also through to the Final, having qualified in the North Tyneside Final on 4th November.Alex P came 2nd, while Alex L qualifies as part of a team. Results from all the qualifiers can be found in the Results section. Good luck to all AAA Members in the Final!
31-Oct-08: Major Announcement - AAA Is Expanding!
From January 2009, AAA Trampoline Club will be expanding to offer even more opportunities for people to get involved in the Club and take part in activities!Every Saturday, the Club will hold 2 Recreation Trampoline classes and a Conditioning session at Dene Comprehensive School in Peterlee.But that’s not all!The Club will also be running Cheerleading sessions alongside the Trampoline sessions, enabling our members to take part in yet another discipline!Sessions are open to all ages, and all the details can be found on the Cheerleading page!
26-Oct-08: Northern Championship Results
Well done to all the AAA members who took part in the Northern Championships this weekend!This was the first time AAA had taken part in the event, and came out with some excellent results including:
oIn the Individual Events, Ashlee came 2nd in the U13 Boys
oIn the Synchro Events, Ashlee and Christian came 3rd in the U15 Boys, and Amy and Catherine came 3rd in the U15 Girls
oIn the Team Events, Amy, Catherine and Rachel picked up 2nd in the U15 Girls
Also, a massive congratulations goes out to the entire AAA Team, as the Club was placed 9th in the Region, which is a fantastic result since the Club is only 1 year old!As always, full results can be found on the Results page.

Tonight, 7 coaches from the Club were invited to the North of England Gymnastics Dinner, where Andi received the award for Development Club of the Year 2008 on behalf of the Club.Photos will be in the gallery soon!
31-Aug-08: AAA Visits Derwent Hill
This weekend 29 members of the Club visited Derwent Hill for an Activity weekend – and they had a fantastic time!Everyone ended up climbing walls, rowing kayaks, diving down gorges, jumping off big swings, taking on the ropes course and loads more!Everyone was really good on the trip, and the staff and coaches were so proud of all our members!Pictures of the weekend can be found in the Gallery!
29-Aug-08: AAA Wins An Award
AAA Trampoline Club have been named as ‘Development Club of the Year 2008’ by the North of England Gymnastics Association!The Club are honoured to receive such an important award over all other gymnastics clubs in the North of England, especially since the Club is still less than 1 year old!The award will be officially presented to the Club at a ceremony on 20th September.Congratulations AAA!
13-Aug-08: Jenny Qualifies As A Senior Club Coach
Congratulations to Jenny, who today qualified as a Level 4 Trampoline Senior Club Coach!This means she can coach up to and including Double Somersaults!Well done!
12-Aug-08: New Trampoline #3 & 4, and a DMT
The Club has today purchased two new trampolines and a DMT, which are currently in storage waiting to be serviced.The new Trampolines will stay at Sandhill meaning there will be 6 trampolines at the Centre.The DMT will be taken to Raich Carter to allow the Club to launch a DMT Club around the time of the Club’s 1st Birthday in October!

13-Jul-08: AAA Coaches Just Keep Getting Better
In the last few weeks, AAA coaches have been working hard to gain more qualifications to continue to provide an excellent environment within the Club.Congratulations to go the following:

Well done to all the AAA Members who competed in the 1st Annual AAA Club Competition!The event was HUGE, with over 45 members taking part!There were several events, including an Adults Event, Elite Event and Synchro Event, with most members taking part in more than one event during the day.The event was rounded off with a fantastic Presentation Ceremony, attended by over 110 people!The complete results of the event can be found on the ‘Calendar’ page.The main results of the competition are as follows:

16-Mar-08: Graded 3-8 Results & AAA TC’s First Qualifers
Today a staggering 31 AAA Trampoline Club members took part in the Graded 3-8 Competition at Ashington Leisure Centre (the most entries from any club in the competition).For most people this was their first competition, and everyone performed fantastically, including most competitors achieving a Personal Best score!Among the highlights were trophies for:
o1st – Peter (U17B – Gr. 3), Louise (U17G – Gr. 4), Christian (U15B – Gr. 6), Cameron (O17B – Gr. 8)
o2nd – Ashlee (U13B – Gr. 4),
o3rd – Jak-E (U15B – Gr. 4), Morgan (U15B – Gr. 6)
Teams also did well at the competition:
o1st – Alex L, Alex P, Brent & Jak-E (U15B – Gr. 4), Christian, Michael & Morgan (U15B – Gr. 6)
o3rd – Ashlyn, Chloe, Eleanor & Laura (U11G – Gr. 6), Amy, Katey & Rachel (U15G – Gr. 6)
And to cap the day off in spectacular fashion, the Club also had two qualifiers!Both Louise and Peter not only won their events, but also qualified!This means Louise is our first Grade 3 Girl, and Peter is our first Grade 2!Congratulations to everyone who took part!
12-Mar-08: Schools Results
A massive CONGRATULATIONS to Alex L & Alex P’s Kings School Team for coming 3rd in National Schools in Birmingham on Sunday!The boys qualified all the way through Regionals and Zonals even just to get to Nationals, so to coming 3rd is an excellent result!7 other AAA members also competed at the Sunderland Schools KS3 competition at Houghton Kepier School on Wednesday.AAA won 3 of the 4 events that they entered, plus winning the Team Event in the Level 2 Girls competition!Full results were:
o1st – Rachel I (Level 2 Girls), Christian (Level 2 Boys) and Jak-E (Level 1 Boys)
The next competition is on Sunday 16th March, and there are 31 AAA members entered!

20-Feb-08: New Trampoline #2
AAA Trampoline Club took delivery of their brand new Eurotramp Exclusive Premium Elite 6x4mm trampoline today at Sandhill Centre, worth over £4,000!The trampoline has come after months of meetings and applications to funding bodies.The new trampoline is of Olympic standard, to ensure competitors are given the best possible equipment to train on, and all the competitors loved using it!We have also purchased two new Throw-In Mats, a trampoline cover and new springs for our Red Trampoline, bringing the total purchase to nearly £5,000!That means in two days our club has got nearly £6,000 worth of new equipment!
19-Feb-08: New Trampoline #1
The Club has today purchased a trampoline to be taken to the Raich Carter Centre to increase capacity for our classes at the Centre.Although not brand new, the trampoline is of good quality and is complete with Training Bars making it an excellent learning tool for all our trainee coaches.The Club has also bought two competition standard End Decks, 2 new wedge mats and a new throw-in mat for use at Raich Carter, at a total purchase price of nearly £1,000!
19-Jan-08: Zonal Schools Results
Congratulations today go to Alex L, Alex P, Peter, Christian & Jak-E, who all competed at the Zonal Schools competition in Temple Park!All 5 had excellent results in their respective age groups, especially Alex & Alex, who qualified to National Schools Finals in their team!

Today was the first competition for AAA Trampoline Club, with 13 members all competing in the Graded 3-8 competition in Newbiggin-By-The-Sea.Everyone had a great time showing off their new leotards and AAA banner!We had some fantastic results, with Louise just missing out on qualifying by 0.2 and a 1st placed team in the U15B – Gr. 4.The full results were:

06-Jan-08: Competing For AAA Trampoline Club
AAA Trampoline Club are pleased to announce that from today all Club members are eligible to compete at Grade 6 competitions on behalf of the Club.This offers everyone the chance to experience a Regional competition and represent AAA throughout the North.The Competitive Session has now been renamed to become the “Grade 4+ Session”, with slightly changed entry criteria and is aimed exclusively at those members competing in Grade 4 or above, with any additional spaces being allocated to those members who show the potential to compete in Grade 4 in the near future.To read the full details of this change, please click here.

Over the last week, AAA has held 7 Fancy Dress Christmas Parties for it’s members, involving games, music and prizes!Lots of members came in full Fancy Dress for the parties, with everyone who had completed their photo forms being entered into the online Fancy Dress contest, with pictures being available on the gallery!Special mentions for the contest go to:

05-Dec-07: Big Announcement 3 – AAA Gets Equipment
The final big announcement is a massive one!This week AAA Trampoline Club was awarded grants totalling over £4000 to use to purchase new equipment!After weeks of meetings and applications, the funding was confirmed and the Club has now been given the go-ahead to place orders.The Club has already ordered 2 new throw-in mats for the Sandhill Centre and new springs for the Red Trampoline, and will next week be placing an order for a brand new Eurotramp Exclusive Premium, complete with a 6x4mm bed!

The Club has now officially been awarded GymMark by British Gymnastics after being up and running for less than 2 months!The award usually takes between 6 months and 1 year to earn, and is only given to clubs which can prove they are safe, effective and child friendly by adhering to strict criteria set down by British Gymnastics.This proves our commitment to providing the best quality coaching and organisation possible in a safe environment.One more major announcement… coming soon…!

29-Oct-07: End Of First Month
Tonight’s session at Sandhill marks the end of the first month of AAA – and what a month it has been!Not only have we started up 7 trampoline classes and 3 conditioning classes at 2 different venues, but we have also launched a website, organised our first AAA Trip and produced our own unique leotards!The Club has registered over 60 members already, including 2 coaches, 2 trainee assistant coaches and 3 welfare officers!And we hope that this is just the start…Next month we are launching our new Competitive Session at Sandhill, plus we have big announcements to make soon… Watch this space!

The new AAA Club Leotards arrived in the post this morning!Ashlyn and Ross kindly modelled the samples at Raich Carter today, and they looked fantastic!The boys will also have red trousers, which we do not have a sample of yet.Leotard prices are:
oGirls leotards: £39.95 (Size 32 and under) / £44.95 (Size 34 and above)
oBoys leotards: £24.95 (Size 32 and under) / £29.95 (Size 34 and above)
oBoys stirrups: £19.95 (Size 32 and under) / £21.95 (Size 34 and above)
We are currently taking orders for leotards and stirrups and we will be placing an order at the start of December, meaning that everything will arrive in time for the Grade 3-8 Competition in January.Please note, all leotards and stirrups must be paid for at the time of ordering.

The new Raich Carter AAA sessions started tonight, and again attendance was fantastic!Everyone who took part in the sessions enjoyed themselves, especially with 3 coaches to only 2 trampolines, and the circuit class next door certainly kept everyone going through the second session!
